Download and install beta versions of iOS at your own risk.The download time and size may vary according to your WiFi connection and device model. Now wait for your device to prepare the update. You’ll see iOS 16 developer beta as an over-the-air (OTA) firmware update. The device will prompt you to restart after installing the profile. Look for a mini-notification within the settings app or find the downloaded profile at the Settings -> General -> Profiles section. Visit this URL from your iPhone or iPad and tap “allow.” Then visit the settings app to review and install the profile. Open the following website on your iPhone.The compatibility list is available at the bottom of the article. Please keep me in touch as I like to know if you were able to stop this and how you were able to do that.There are a lot of distracting blogs out there I’ll be specific, and you can finish the whole iOS 16 beta installation process in a couple of minutes. I can only hope someone else may be able to help you out. I sure wish I had an answer for you, but I have seen this before and least wanted to chime in. This must be done, or you will keep getting the notice that the new beta is ready to be installed. You can do this with in the Storage area. If that is the case, you will need to remove that downloaded file. ![]() Be sure to back up your iOS device with iTunes before installing the software. Unless, for some reason it had already downloaded that beta and simply is waiting for you to install it. The iOS 16 developer beta is still in development, which means some applications and services may not work as expected and their data may not be backwards compatible. That is indeed something new I have not seen before. Now if the Beta Profile is indeed gone and is not being displayed under the Profile settings. ![]() For odd reason it popped back up and I had to do the step over again by that next reset it was gone now. What I have found in the past is that I had to reset the device and go back to check the Profile again. ![]() From the sound of it you did the right thing by going to the Settings -> General -> Profile and removed the beta profile. ![]()
